Dazed’s Odyssey

April 18th, 2016 |Posted by steven.yatsko

Inside the upcoming issue of Dazed Magazine rising image-maker Charlotte Wales photographs Taylor Hill as a vision of idyllic beauty. Though the Victoria Secret Angel is sans her wings, the dreamy model gives plenty of Greek goddess vibes thanks to an ethereal set by Alexander Bock and some unexpected fashioning by Elizabeth Fraser-Bell, including a tinfoil laurel band. Beauty team Thomas De Kluyver and Christian Eberhard conjure Greek mythos just as well as the divine real and now. See the exclusive preview of the editorial below before the issue is out tomorrow.

A New Hero

May 6th, 2014 |Posted by jonathan

Recent years have seen a burst of independent magazines, but few have risen with quite the speed of HERO Magazine, the London-based men’s mag launched in 2009. What began as a DIY celebration of fashion and models has turned into a major force on the scene, with cover stories of rising Hollywood stars by Hedi Slimane and impressive portfolios on culture and society. The latest issue, with actor Bill Skarsgård on the cover, offers another look at the possibilities of print, with a vigorous fifty-page feature shot by Hero cofounder Fabien Kruszelnicki and styled by Elizabeth Fraser-Bell. Karlis Adlers is found amidst a house in ruins, offering a look ahead at Fall 2014’s most desirable looks, all of them accentuated by his shock of platinum-blond hair. Take a look at our exclusive preview below, and see the full story in the new issue, available at Hero-Magazine.com.

Super Hero

April 27th, 2012 |Posted by Betty

One of our favorite men’s magazines, HERO Magazine is back for Summer/Fall 2012 with fantastic new face Arthur Gosse glowering in Givenchy with those unforgettably covetable nose rings from the F/W 12 collection. The theme for issue 7, DARK+STORMY will come with a collector’s special edition slipcase, only 25 of which will be available for purchase worldwide at select locations. Interviews with Calvin Klein’s Italo Zucchelli, Dior Homme’s Kris Van Assche and stories by Paul Jasmin, David Armstrong and Danielle Levitt make this issue a must buy.

MDC visitors have the chance to win one of five limited edition DARK+STORMY slipcase copies – by tweeting why they should win them @models @hero_magazine with the hashtag, #hero7limitededition; the winners will be announced on Monday May 7th.

For our friends in the Far East, Hero comes out with their first Chinese and Japanese editions. To purchase the issue, click here.
