Russh Plays it Cool

April 6th, 2016 |Posted by steven.yatsko

Russh‘s latest Jamie Bochert fronted issue delivers plenty of  lush looking spreads true to the Australian publication’s beauty-centric MO, all the while keeping its cool. Case in point: the visual offerings from Elina Kechicheva featuring Willow Hand and Natalia Sirotina done up in a dewey, multicolored palette to a painterly effect or fashion darlings Lily Stewart and Angel Rutledge in Sam Hendel’s simply pretty capture of the two. See some of the Drew Jarrett photographed story of the rakish beauty below, plus an exclusive look inside the “Imagine” issue:

The Greatest’s Youthquake

March 4th, 2016 |Posted by jonathan

For its Spring 2016 issue, menswear biannual The Greatest Magazine explores fashion’s endless fascination with youth, in all its possibility and potential for change. Erik van Gils leads off with the cover in a story by Alessandro Dal Buoni and Matteo Greco that moves with the season’s easy feeling in crisp black and white, and also stars Sven de Vries, Niels Trispel, Dominik Hahn, and Guerrino Santulliana, among others. Massimo Pamparana and Greco capture Mats Van Snippenberg‘s boyish appeal, while Sam Harwood displays his athletic energy in an editorial by Lowe H Seger and Christopher Preston. Thomas Goldblum and Benoit Martinengo take on the season’s fresh high-waisted look, and the new oversized silhouette finds its shape in a story from Francesco Brigida (AGENCE SAINT GERMAIN) and Jérôme André (Visual Artist UK ). An accompanying moody, introspective film by Luca De Santis finds Gucci campaign star Hugo Goldhoorn dressed by Greco in the brand’s gentle Spring designs.

Take an exclusive first look at the new issue and video, out now, below.

Russh’s Energy

April 4th, 2013 |Posted by Janelle

Russh travels to the idyllic beaches of Ibiza for its Energy Issue. In the hands of another glossy, the topic of energy would be handled in a literal fashion with kinetic editorials brimming with tension, but Russh prefers to play it cool. Offering up a series of chill stories filled with fashionable femmes and an effortless vibe attuned to spring/summer’s easy-going fashions. Cover star Julia Nobis makes for the perfect embodiment of this laid back, yet irresistible aura. The lithe Aussie seem right at home as she chills in Celine Birkenstocks and she even manages to make high-concept pieces from Gareth Pugh & Alexander Wang look easy in Benny Horne‘s dreamy imagery.
