Sardinia’s Queen

July 11th, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

Tar Magazine‘s blend of fashion and art, makes for some truly unusual editorials and Sofia Sanchez and Mauro Mongiello‘s sexy, mysterious and somewhat off-kilter tale featuring Dree Hemingway is no exception. Masked men, ancient ruins, a slew of Samuel Francois selected pieces from Azzedine Alaia and Maison Martin Margiela, it all works to create an engaging atmosphere that grabs your attention.

Scarlett Fever

August 12th, 2010 |Posted by Janelle

After a spate of avant-garde editorials sometimes it is nice to see something purely pretty; Alexi Lubomirski creates an elegant vision of glamour for September’s Harper’s Bazaar starring Dree Hemingway. The editorial might not push the boundaries of fashion, but it sure makes the clothes look gorgeous, the crimson colored ensembles chosen by Clare Richardson add perfect touch of chic to Alexi’s colorful and lively images. The fun loving spirit of the story and Dree’s natural charm make for an altogether enjoyable story.
