Hercules Turns Ten

March 31st, 2016 |Posted by jonathan

Weber brings his sharp eye and athletic energy to a number of stories within the issue, which also finds Dominik Sadoch in easy sportswear for Alessio Boni and Andres Velencoso Segura looking sexy in a feature by Nico. Appropriately themed “Coming of Age,” the issue also spotlights rising actors Finn Wittrock and Raphaël Personnaz, all in the cause of welcoming in a bright new season and wishes for another bountiful ten years to come.

Bruce Weber’s Grand Reunion

September 8th, 2015 |Posted by jonathan

V Man serves up a powerhouse reunion in the new Fall issue, gathering together five iconic faces for a countryside rendezvous courtesy of Bruce Weber. Brad Kroenig, Andres Velencoso Segura, Tyson Ballou, Jake Davies, and RJ Rogenski, all industry legends who have played major roles in some of the magazine’s most memorable features (Kroenig, in fact, covered the premiere issue), are seen in a quiet sylvan paradise in Weber’s timeless images, styled by Deborah Watson. With a knowing reference to Weber’s own unforgettable 2008 W cover of Kate Moss, Daria Werbowy, and Lara Stone lined up in bed, this new story offers a last vision of glowing summer before the weather starts to turn.

Take an exclusive first look at the feature below, and see the full story on VMAN.com.

At Large and In Charge

December 4th, 2014 |Posted by jonathan

The surge in independent publishing continues this week with the launch of At Large Magazine, a new triennial menswear magazine that offers a “first-class seat on an irreverent ride through form and content, fact and fiction, investigation and conversation, aesthetics and adventure.” And a splashy début it is, with four covers—including rising stars Jack O’Connell from Unbroken and Luke Grimes from American Sniper, both shot by Randall Mesdon—and a party to celebrate at Art Basel Miami Beach this Friday with Aaron Young, the Webster, and A$AP Rocky.

Bruce Weber contributes an original portfolio to this first issue, to go along with photo-collages by Jack Pierson and limited-edition bandanas by Young. A third cover features pro surfer Ben Skinner, photographed here by Ben Weller with styling by Julie Ragolia, with an accompanying candid seaside story within. The fourth cover, with artist/model David Alexander Flinn is shot by Mark Abrahams, styled by Deborah Watson. The long-haired Travis Smith takes center stage in another fashion feature, photographed by Matthew Brookes and dressed by Bill Mullen in the season’s sharpest, cleanest sportswear pieces. Take a look at these stories in an exclusive preview of the promising new start below and get the special At Large/J.Crew collaboration t-shirt right here.
