Pretty In Pink

April 27th, 2010 |Posted by Janelle

Karmen Pedaru has the confidence and sex appeal to play the femme fatale, but David Vasiljevic takes her into softer territory for Numero Tokyo. The candy colored cover is almost sugary sweet, but in the editorial Karmen looks as strong as ever. Charles Varenne‘s styling keeps things delicate and girlish; lots of lace, a little Chanel tweed and of course, loads of pink, the combination is wonderful.

One of the Boys

September 30th, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

Toni Garrn is easily one of the most unforgettable faces in modeling right now but don’t let her pristine beauty fool you, she’s still got what it takes to go up against male modeling’s edgiest boys. Tyler Riggs, Lyle Lodwick, Marcel Castenmiller and Joseph Culp join Toni for David Vasiljevic‘s motorcycle enthusiast themed story for Numero Japan. The whole gang seems right at home sitting on the back of a scooters and motorbikes and Toni is looking very Claudia Schiffer circa Guess.

Material Girl

May 28th, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

Vlada Roslyakova looks like something out of a fairytale but David Vasiljevic brings out her inner 80s baby for Numero Tokyo. The Valley Girl themed story showcases Vlada looking retro in big bows and short skirts. Victoria Adcocks sharp styling is so in tune with the 80s theme that you can almost hear the Madonna playing in the background.

The Muse

September 29th, 2008 |Posted by Janelle

Hilary Rhoda is in rare form as she strikes a powerful pose for the cover of Muse. The fall/winter edition of the fashion glossy features an especially edgy Rhoda shot by David Vasiljevic in the seasons best. Further proof that Estee Lauder’s freshest face still has that coveted chameleon quality.

Bohemian Rhapsody

July 28th, 2008 |Posted by Janelle

It seems like September issues hit newsstands earlier and earlier each year. It’s only July and already we’re being treated to some of the best in fall content. Numero Tokyo showcases the ever chic Anna Maria Jagodzinska in beatnik Gucci on its fall cover while inside it predicts the next round of major modeling stars. Anna makes the list, naturally.
