After looking at thousands of pictures of young men for the past several weeks, we thought we’d throw out some of the faces that stood out to us from the men’s shows.

Clement Chabernaud, star of this season’s Roberto Cavalli campaign by Steven Meisel was our pick for the top most versatile model of the season with 20 plus of the top shows, including Roberto Cavalli, Jil Sander, Versace, DSquared2, Hugo by Hugo Boss, Louis Vuitton, Thierry Mugler, Raf Simons and closing Prada, Giuliano Fujiwara and Missoni. Top 50 stars: AJ Abualrub, Jakob Wiechmann, Simon Nessman and Jeremy Young followed closely behind with 15 plus of the top shows.

Last season’s set of MDC top newcomers: Benoni Loos, Charlie France, Danny Schwarz, Francisco Lachowski, Johannes Linder, Jonas Kesseler, Lyle Lodwick, Mark Cox, Nick Rea, Nate Gill, Nicolas Ripolll, Robbie Wadge, Thomas Hoefnagels, Vladimir Ivanov andJakob Hybholt all had tremendous sophomore seasons. Mr. Hybholt and Mr Linder had monster weeks racking 17 plus shows each.

Some familiar faces who are not only looking better than ever, some had their best week ever: Bastiaan Ninaber, Gen Huismans, Gordie Walker, George Barnett, Guy Robinson.

Dolce & Gabbana packs a one-two punch for campaign season, unleashing two choice ads for the fall winter season. First up the mainline campaign by Steven Klein which takes Mariacarla Boscono, Edita Vilkeviciute & Heidi Mount into the casino for a high stakes, high fashion mix of color and movement.

Next up the younger set takes the stage for D&G by Mario Testino Fresh faces Hanna Rundolf, Ragnhild Jevne, Katie Fogarty, Sara Blomqvist & Stephanie Rad lounge in a drawing room looking lovely while the boys Danny Schwarz, Philipp Bierbaum and Jakob Hybholt create a mirror image in the same locale.

Alexei Hay takes things into the wild for 10 Men. The spring/summer issue features Danny Schwarz, Thomas Hoefnagels, Blake Kuchta & Robert Rae sporting gear that bridges the gap between western and tribal. The handsome quartet - handpicked by Daniel Peddle Casting - looks incredible thanks in part to David Vandewal’s distinctive styling. Each boy brings something different to the table in terms of appeal but together it makes for an enticing editorial.

VMan is dedicated to pushing mens fashion forward. The Summer 09 edition gives us a taste of what’s to come for fall and focuses on the designers committed to bringing menswear into the forefront - Rick Owens, Riccardo Tisci, Rei Kawakubo and  Raf Simons, just to name a few. Terry Tsiolis creates an edgy portfolio celebrating fashion on the fringe and models Joseph Culp, Kyle Saunders, Julian Hennig, Andrey Ivanov, Devin Childers, Tomek Szczukiecki, Danny Schwarz, William Eustace, Mikus Lasmanis, Keith Browning & Ludwig P are all enlisted to add attitude. The clothes may be designer but Jay Massacret‘s savvy styling is all about the youthful eccentricity of street culture.

Presenting their outstanding men of the season, D Men in Milan sends in their latest promo of the most requested models on their board.

In the 80’s there was Brooke Shields who famously declared that nothing came between me and my Calvins. In the 90’s the infamous photo shoot in the basement took place that had conservative Christians crying child pornography. Sandwiched in between were iconic underwear images of Tom Hintnaus, Marky Mark and an English new face named Kate Moss. If there is one thing that Calvin Klein can do is create a buzz that millions of advertising dollars cannot buy. The current commercial for CK Jeans shot by Steven Meisel is already banned in the US (joining last year’s Calvin’s Eva Mendes fronted Obsession fragrance). This is the first CK Jeans commercial since Brooke’s and it doesn’t disappoint. WWD has the uncensored preview here and steamy it most certainly is. The models spotted rolling around and appearing in the provocative print ads are some of the industry’s hottest stars and freshest new faces including Anna Jagodzinska, Anna Selezneva, Natasha Poly, Edita Vilkeviciute, Danny Schwarz, Vladimir Ivanov, Carson Parker and new face Mikus Lasmanis.
