La Canzone del Mare

September 2nd, 2014 |Posted by Janelle

The Dolce & Gabbana look is one of the most easily recognizable in fashion – the brand’s quintessentially Italian take on style is unmistakable. The dramatic nature of Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbanas clothing makes the duo’s wares perfect for editorial and Vogue Japan taps into the larger than life style of Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda with a seaside story as lively and colorful as anything you’ll see this month. Dalianah ArekionKinga Rajzak and Nadja Bender take to the shores of Capri wearing the couture collection as they perch on the edge of cliffs and pose on boats while looking like princesses – complete with gilded D&G crowns. Giovanna Battaglia and Anna Dello Russo take turns styling, creating a vivid portrait of Mediterranean glamour.

El Bambi

October 24th, 2013 |Posted by Janelle

Never underestimate the power of a well placed bit of cartoon magic; each season Riccardo Tisci comes up with at least one Givenchy must have that makes a splash and for the last few months its been all about Bambi. The opening look of the designer’s critically lauded fall collection was a Disney inspired sweatshirt that added touch of twee to the typically hard-edged Givenchy look and instantly became a cult status symbol. The signature piece has been making waves in magazines of late with the Bambi shirt appearing on the cover of Vogue Japan, the newly launched Miss Vogue AustraliaVogue China and Madame Figaro, not to mention inside appearances in i-D Magazine & V Magazine. Add in the fact that this little number has also been spotted on the backs of everyone from Beyoncé Knowles to Carine Roitfeld and you have the makings of a moment.

October 18th, 2013 |Posted by

Since its launch just over a year ago, ODDA Magazine has continued to deliver fresh, avant-garde fashions for both men and women, and as we expected, the latest issue delivers just that and more. ODDA offers two covers for issue number 5 featuring Polish beauty Magdalena Jasek in Margiela and handsome Tyler Maher in Prada. The always-unpredictable content ranges from innovative and edgy to playful and quirky. Interviews with designers, from the iconic Yohji Yamamoto to the inimitable Christian Lacroix to current creatives Kris Van Assche, Thom Browne and Gaia Trussardi give the magazine that extra jolt of fashion. Sneak a peek at our favorite stories below. ODDA goes worldwide on October 28th— certainly an issue that can’t be missed.
