Schön Magazine goes cinematic for its latest issue, with a host of top models recreating the feel of notable films and then creating one of its own. Stories with River Viiperi and Codie Young mirror the feel of Casino Royale and Secretary, while Ashley Smith goes wild in a colorful beauty story. The pièce de résistance is of course the stunning Isabeli Fontana in an atmospheric cover story filled with glamour, that is taken to the next level in its own film premiering on Schon’s site.

As one of the foremost fashion illustrators of all time, René Gruau made a lasting impact on the fashion industry. His work for designers like Christian Dior, Jacques Fath, Balenciaga, Elsa Schiaparelli, Pierre Balmain and Hubert de Givenchy, elevated their legendary designs into the realm of art and helped to change the way women dressed. Dazed & Confused pays tribute to Gruau’s style with a futuristic story by Daniel Jackson, styled by Karen Langley. With eye-catching black and white makeup by Yadim mimicking Gruau’s bold brushstrokes on the faces of Ava Smith, Codie Young &Madison Headrick, the edit is a modernized look at the master’s signature style.

This editorial also marks Yadim’s very first as the new International Makeup Designer for Dior, Naturally he was inspired by Gruau’s drawings for the house and he developed the concept based on those images.

Daniel Jackson celebrates the looks of the season in British Vogue‘s collections special. Shooting the signature pieces from the spring/summer collections as selected by Francesca Burns. Every piece you’d expect to see is there, from the salmon tinted Calvin Klein spaghetti strap shift, to McQueen’s extravagantly detailed chiffon numbers. Added bonus – each ensemble is paired with a girl who elevates the look, from Maria Bradley’s innate edge adding an ounce of cool to Armani’s classic suit, to Elise Crombez showing you exactly how YSL ought to be worn.

Each issue of Grey Magazine is crafted with a thoughtfulness and artistry that you don’t see much anymore. We’re in love with the fall issue’s cover of Anais Pouliot and Codie Young shot by Chadwick Tyler and styled by Valentina Ilardi Martin. The stark image creates a soulful mood and brings out the beauty in both girls. We love when magazines debut fresh talent so Vogue Australia‘s October issue is a special treat. Fresh face Codie Young snags adorable floral cover by Nicole Bentley, but eagle-eyed model fans may remember her from a 50s themed editorial by Derek Henderson inside September’s issue. The pink floral cover is a refreshingly girly choice for fall and Codie’s doll like features remind us of the incredible babyfaced Aussie sensations to debut in previous years; Abbey, Gemma, Miranda, the list goes on.
