Made in Brazil Magazine has always been the go-to resource for the best and brightest Brazilian models, and the magazine expands its horizons with its latest edition. Labeled as the “International Issue,” the new magazine offers up a continent-spanning study of some of the most important faces in the industry today, kicked off by the four cover boys: the Argentine Mariano Ontañon, the Brit Arran Sly, the German Thorben Gartner, and the American Chris Moore. Every continent—save, of course, Antarctica—is represented within, from the Australian Joel Meacock and a heavy South American contingent to Matthew Brookes (D + V Management )’ beautiful feature shot in the desert outside Marrakech.

Several of the most promising new faces, from Harvey James and John Todd to Matt Mcglone and Ronald Epps, take their place alongside some of the industry’s biggest names, from Garrett Neff and David Agbodji to Chad White and Tobias Sorensen, all of them captured in characteristically rich and striking photography by Milan Vukmirovic (De Facto), Cristiano Madureira, Greg Vaughan, Dean Isidro, and more. With this eighth issue, Made in Brazil proves it can widen its scope without losing its singular, coherent vision.

Spring/Summer 2012 has proved to be a great run for a string of first timers for their respective houses; many of them also choosing new faces to front their campaigns for the season. How do you think these guys have fared?

While usually having a bevy of models in their ads, Gucci went solo this season with new and fresh faced Greg Nawrat. It also seems that Bottega Veneta had the same idea and tapped spring show opener Alex Cunha to star in their campaign, shot by contemporary artist Jack Pierson.

Running champs of the campaign season again, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott explored two different sides with Giorgio Armani and Versace. Simon Nessman solidifies his place on our list in a sleek and simple setting while relatively unknown British face Ryan Barrett snags an only guy campaign beside the illustrious Gisele.
