Case in point his latest story for British Vogue is an elegant and upbeat trip through Manhattan nightlife. With the neon lights of the Odeon in the background, the bouyant energy of Karlie Kloss and some killer styling by Charlotte Pilcher, the editorial captures the vibrant life of a girl on the go. As always Karlie brings an effortless quality to her poses and her wholesome natural glamour shines, even when she’s dressed as a female version of Mr. Richardson or munching on a plate of french fries.

The impact of street-style bloggers on the current fashion scene is undeniable. Whether you’re following every Lookbook.nu update or watching photogs like Garance Doré and Tommy Ton make their way into the pages of Vogue, it is hard to escape the blog phenomenon. This month’s British Vogue gives a wry twist on the trend with Raymond Meier‘s colorful street-style inspired editorial starring the stunning Suvi Koponen.

At first glance these pictures definitely look like something you’d see on a fashion Tumblr. You’ve got all the tell-tale tropes; girl toting motorcycle helmet in outfit unfit for a motorcycle – check, beleaguered editor carrying not one but two seasonal it-bags – check, Anna Dello Russo approved cherry hat – check. Stylist Charlotte Pilcher has certainly done her homework and it shows. The look at me (and please take my picture) over-the-top-ness of each look mimics the trend without ever verging into parody.
