Monrowe Redoes Classic

December 18th, 2015 |Posted by steven.yatsko

As the sophomore issue of Monrowe Magazine hits racks it again fashions their uniquely antique aesthetic into a new kind of classic with its silvery, filmic images that, together, read as heirloom collection of editorials. The fashion is neatly tucked in and buttoned down. The cover story, faced by the delicate Lou Schoof, is lensed with an adoring eye by Diego Uchitel and clothed simply by Dianna Lunt. The rest of the inside stories like Fanny Latour-Lambert‘s lighthearted capturing of brothers Felix Gesnouin and Gédéon Gesnouin or Annelise Phillips‘ cinematic narrative with city kids Lida Fox and Yuri Pleskun are equally eloquent. See a preview of the issue as well as the motion portrait of Lou by Alexander Donnelly.

Up In Flames

July 3rd, 2013 |Posted by Janelle

Lurve Magazine is on fire – literally – watch the flames rise on the striking new cover starring Aline Weber. Shot by Tetsuharu Kubota and styled by Maher Jridi, the white hot cover is an expressive start to an issue set around ideas about “the other” and exploring the importance of the outsider perspective. The heat doesn’t stop there, a second cover featuring Shanina Shaik turns up the temperature, with a slick black and white image of the sultry beauty. Inside Marlon Teixeira strips down in Jeremy Kost‘s intimate polaroids, which show a private side of the popular star.
