Lindsey, Freja, Sophie…oh my. As Chadwick Tyler switches from photographer to director, he has chosen the ladies (and gentleman) of Marc Jacobs F/W10 to display a hidden talent behind a different kind of lens. On exclusive from Another magazine, the models are in the moment and in their Marc. We can’t get enough of our favorite pristine casting dancing across the screen – there’s no place like home. Gracie Carvalho by Chadwick Tyler. (story by Kristen Bolt)

Cushnie et Ochs have released their latest looks for S/S10 and it makes perfect sense this angular while feminine line would entail the talent of photographer-to-watch Chadwick Tyler. The combined aesthetic, photographed backstage at the recent show and styled by Nicole Vitagliano, results in a look book which is not only full of movement and provocative clothes, but also an array of some of the modeling world’s brightest young stars. The likes of Gracie Carvalho, Melodie Dagault, Rachel Rutt,  Shu Pei, and Taylor Kraemer by Chadwick deliver a powerful POV to the burgeoning brand.

Chadwick Tyler‘s photographs always possess a raw and youthful quality that separates them from the pack. Looking at his latest series for Russh we’re struck by both his insouciant take on fashion photography and the striking presence of Mathilde Frachon. Dressed in gritty jet black ensembles expertly chosen by Stevie Dance, Mathilde looks effortlessly edgy and perfectly in line with Chadwick’s signature style.

Pure & Simple

March 31st, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

How much do we love Chadwick Tyler? The fast rising photographer’s images are popping up everywhere and with his uniquely moody style it’s easy to see why. For the latest issue of The Last Magazine Tyler captures the ethereal beauty of  Siri Tollerod and Lena Lomkova.  While both girls are known for their delicate prettiness, Tyler brings out an added edge. The simple series  is evocative and spare – fancy props and exotic locations aren’t required,  all you need are two beautiful girls and a capable photographer at the helm.
