It is always a pleasure to see Camilla Akrans‘s slick vision of luxury in the pages of Harper’s Bazaar and her September story featuring Bette Franke is an especially luxe endeavor. With candy colored furs chosen by Brana Wolf and a picturesque seaside backdrop, the story is a blue tinted vision of extravagance.

As the reigning queen of glossy editorial perfection, Camilla Akrans never fails to create a world filled with saturated color and glamorous inhabitants. Akrans’ latest for Vogue Italia takes blonde beauty Ieva Laguna and transforms her into a cherry haired vixen. Lacquered lips, a few well placed diamonds and a barely there fringe number by Versace selected by Ludivine Poiblanc, complete the sultry look, but Ieva brings the sizzle. With poses ranging from come hither stares to a full blown rapturous head toss, Miss Laguna is giving her all to the camera.

A colorful and subtly sexy story in the Akrans’ signature style. Sissy Vian mixes the best in lingerie from La Perla with streamlined pieces from Dolce & Gabbana and Louis Vuitton, while Odile Gilbert and Fredrik Stambro provide the perfect hair and makeup.

The best campaign images capture the essence of their brands, while bringing the collection to life with new vitality. Alexander Wang’s S/S 11 image plays on the minimalist edge of the show and its unforgettable look. Aymeline Valade brings all her strength to Craig McDean‘s pictures, striking energetic poses in Wang’s deconstructed pieces styled by Karl Templer.

Thomas Wylde puts Sasha Pivovarova‘s charms to good use, in their rock chic campaign by Greg Kadel. The brand’s skull and crossbones accessories are all the rage and the ads capture that same spirit of luxurious rebellion.

Herve Leger’s is known for their little bondage dresses and Camilla Akrans‘s sleek campaign certainly features them prominently, but the addition of Olga Sherer and the luxurious locale, makes things considerably more glamourous.

Camilla Akrans takes Theres Alexandersson in a retro direction for the latest Vogue Nippon; with a naval theme and 40s styling by Sissy Vian, Theres looks every bit the pinup in these playful shots, it is amazing what a transformation a red lip can provide!

Elissa Santisi loves a good pair of pants, no wonder the superstar stylist dressed Liu Wen in a series of gorgeous suits from the fall collections in the new Vogue China. Camilla Akrans shoots Liu in the latest menswear inspired looks from Chloe, Givenchy and more but fashion lovers may get a sense of deja vu with the Altuzarra shot – very Tom Ford for Gucci, no?

A luxurious mansion, red lace masks and a knowing look in Eniko’s eyes; it all makes you wonder just what is going on behind the scenes. Once again Sissy Vian‘s styling is a standout, the crimson colored pieces look perfect on Eniko and go perfectly with the mysterious feel of the story.
