The Brit Pack

December 15th, 2014 |Posted by Janelle

Nothing beats a spectacular pairing of two generations of supermodel and Burberry Prorsum delivers all that and then-some with a gorgeous S/S campaign by Mario Testino featuring Naomi Campbell and Jourdan Dunn. In keeping with the precedent set by the recent My Burberry ads starring Kate Moss & Cara, these new ads showcase the timelessness of Burberry’s signature pieces by featuring two of Britain’s best known faces in trenches and tartan shot by Mario Testino. (Art Partner) Christopher Bailey‘s colorful and dynamic spring collection comes to life in the accompanying video where Jourdan & Naomi smile and giggle while joined by male model musicians George Barnett and George Le Page, who round out the all British cast.

Mod Squad

June 26th, 2014 |Posted by Janelle

The resurgence of mod was one of fall’s most impactful runway trends and American Vogue captures the look with a playful Mario Testino (Art Partner) editorial starring Cara Delevingne. London girl Cara is the perfect person to pull off this quintessentially British look and she’s joined by lead singer of The Heartbreaks Matthew Whitehouse and Josh Nickerson (Anti-Agency), both of whom look authentically retro. Grace Coddington handles styling and as always provides an eye-catching mix of designer wares. Pieces from Tom Ford, Burberry and Saint Laurent Paris are put to good use and Didier Malige (Art Partner) and Linda Cantello‘s hair & makeup provide the final touch of swinging sixties beauty.

Less is More

May 7th, 2014 |Posted by Janelle

Josh Olins kicks back in the pages of British Vogue with an editorial infused with easygoing charm. Set in the windswept hills of Santa Barbara and starring Andreea Diaconu and Ashleigh Goodthe story focuses on minimal separates in neutral colors. With stylist Clare Richardson at the helm, the pared down color palette and restrained lineup of pieces from ChanelDerek Lam and Burberry Prorsum seems effortlessly cool rather than sharply severe. For their part, Andreea and Ashleigh look right at home in every shot, whether they’re lounging in the tall grass, or posing together on the edge of the boardwalk.
