Campaign Confidential

January 10th, 2014 |Posted by Janelle

The vibrant SS14 collection was a departure for Celine but its buoyant energy is captured perfectly by Juergen Teller and Stephen Galloway. The Kandinsky-esque prints and primary colors come alive thanks to Galloway’s dance moves and elegant poses by Daria Werbowy andJulia Nobis

Bad girls do it well in Alexander Wang’s cheeky spring ads, Steven Klein shoots in a bathroom stall as Anna Ewers poses in one of Wang’s memorable parental advisory mesh tops. The gritty vibe is underscored by Karl Templer‘s styling and creative direction by Pascal Dangin.

Given that we’re right in the middle of awards season, Miu Miu’s actress fronted campaign seems especially timely. Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin shoot an array of rising stars including fashion favorites Lupita Nyong’o, Elle Fanning, Elizabeth Olsen and Bella Heathcote

When you wear Tom Ford, all eyes are on you so it only seems fitting that the designer’s S/S 14 campaign centers around a crowdsurfing theme. Models Esther HeeschConrad Bromfield and Carlos Peters get carried away – literally – as Ford shoots them in glamorous pieces from his ready to wear, eyewear and accessories empire.

Joan, Jourdan and Chanel aren’t the only fashion stars featured; cameos from other catwalkers abound throughout the visual album – check out Shaun Ross and Diandra Forrest in the ‘Pretty Hurts’ segment as well.

Muse Appeal

November 29th, 2013 |Posted by Janelle

Muse Magazine returns with two stellar new covers that showcase the beauty of two of our favorite faces. Beau Grealy brings out the bohemian in Aline Weber with a witchy shoot that capitalizes on Aline’s posing skills. Styled by Sarah Ellison-Prat (Streeters New York) and featuring the best in fringed, embellished and embroidered looks, the woodsy shoot and its eerie vibe showcase a fresh side of Aline.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Meghan Collisons cover shoot with Amy Troost  is all about the contemporary wardrobe and all its sleek trappings. With an appealing selection of minimal looks chosen by Beth Fenton and a stark black background, the focus is all on Meghan and how she brings the pieces to life.
