Party All the Time with W

August 4th, 2015 |Posted by Irene Ojo-Felix

Here comes the heavy hitters! As the prestigious September issues start to roll out, W Magazine stays ahead of the game with a Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott party extravaganza in the LA hills. Featuring a casting list of colossal proportions, the camera duo give us a fly-on-the-wall view of the wild night of dirty dancing, heavy make out sessions, and twilight pool romps. Styling courtesy of fashion director Edward Enninful cements the theme with the seductive designs of Versace, Alexandre Vauthier, Yves Saint Laurent and more.

Less is More

May 7th, 2014 |Posted by Janelle

Josh Olins kicks back in the pages of British Vogue with an editorial infused with easygoing charm. Set in the windswept hills of Santa Barbara and starring Andreea Diaconu and Ashleigh Goodthe story focuses on minimal separates in neutral colors. With stylist Clare Richardson at the helm, the pared down color palette and restrained lineup of pieces from ChanelDerek Lam and Burberry Prorsum seems effortlessly cool rather than sharply severe. For their part, Andreea and Ashleigh look right at home in every shot, whether they’re lounging in the tall grass, or posing together on the edge of the boardwalk.

Mix + Match

April 1st, 2014 |Posted by Matthew

In fashion, a little daring goes a long way. Such is the case in this artful shoot from Jamie Hawkesworth, who brings his trademark eye for stark yet striking imagery to the pages of W’s April 2014 issue. Featuring Marine Deleeuw, Ashleigh Good, Harleth Kuusik, and Linn Arvidsson, Hawkesworth’s latest demonstrates the undeniable cool of fashion-forward contrasts. Combining Phoebe Philo’s Céline brushstrokes and Raf Simons’ “Trans Dior” prints with pieces by Gucci, Max Mara, and Vera Wang, Marie-Amélie Sauvé’s dynamic styling speaks for itself.

Derelicte!

March 5th, 2014 |Posted by Janelle

A good ol’ Hefty bag gets the high fashion treatment in the pages of CR Fashion Book with an inventive editorial that mixes high fashion accessories with disposable plastics. Sebastian Faena shoots as Ashleigh Good poses in torn garbage bags she’s fashioned into outfits. The torn and tattered looks are paired with haute pieces from Saint Laurent Paris, Gucci and Chanel for a unique juxtaposition of high class and pure trash. With her platinum blonde coif and matte red lips Ashleigh carries off the total look with elegance and Faena’s cheeky shots strike the right balance between sexy and playful.
