With a wide range of cover stars and images filled with drama, the magazine certainly promises to be exciting. With so many cover options it is hard to pick a favorite; we’re especially drawn to the beautifully done images of models and their children, but the compelling chemistry in the couple covers is hard to ignore – which cover stands out to you?

A Leg Up!

August 25th, 2010 |Posted by Janelle

The feminine 50s trend strikes again, this time in the pages of Vogue Nippon with a cheeky editorial by Sølve Sundsbø. In the story Ana Beatriz Barros and Alessandra Ambrosio fall head over heels for luxurious ensembles by Vuitton and Cacherel, all chosen by superstylist Katie Grand. While Ale and Ana look fit for an episode of Mad Men, Solve adds in a touch of whimsy by shooting the girls upside down and lounging like true retro pinups – the look is sexy, coy and just a little demure.

This review of Alexander McQueen’s show made me cry. I’m so glad that Frida Gustavsson did the show. Talking to her during February NY shows, it was obvious that she, as a fashion student really had an understanding and appreciation for how important he was to fashion.

Perception Is Reality

October 21st, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

Fashion naysayers may have written Miranda Kerr off as simply being an angel but the Aussie cutie is out to change a few minds with her latest ventures into high fashion. Following her very talked about turn on the Balenciaga runway, Miranda is set to appear in the brand new issue of V. Starring alongside the equally lovely Ana Beatriz Barros in Willy Vanderperre‘s vision of the postmodern pinup is a very good way to kick of an editorial resurgence and from the looks of the pictures the story itself is sure to excite. Olivier Rizzo‘s sensual yet demure pinup inspired styling is already catching our eyes.

Do you like the new high fashion Miranda or are you a fan of her more mainstream work?
