Another reason to love Natalia Vodianova. Behind that angel face is the heart of a warrior, determined to do as much as she can to help the children of the world through the power of her beauty. Here’s her new project, Bugaboo Red which helps pregnant women with HIV. “These days, if you don’t take a socially responsible position, you’re out of the club,” says Natalia. We couldn’t agree more!

Congratulations Lara Stone and David Walliams! We are so happy for Lara who got married this weekend in a gorgeous dress by Riccardo Tisci. Check out some pics of friends on British Vogue who include Tom Ford and Jefferson Hack.

In case you haven’t heard, Liya Kebede won a big award at Cannes for her role in Desert Flower.

Tyson Beckford interviewed by Forbes: looking older but still beautiful.

WWD catches up with Eileen Ford, who most certainly has quite a unique perspective on the modeling industry, having pretty much invented it.

Michelle Lee, casting director extraordinaire talks to WWD about the casting process and her favorite new faces of the season.

On a sombre note, Jezebel looks at the terribly sad trend of model suicides, in the wake of Noemie Lenoir‘s suicide attempt. Look for our upcoming special interview with a top model about this topic.

Take a look at Gisele when she started out. House of Models has 2 pics side by side of Gisele 15 years ago and Gisele now. Still drop dead gorgeous!

Remember the beautiful Gail Elliott from the 90s? Frockwriter reviews her Little Joe line which appeared for the first time at the Sydney shows.

The uniquely stunning Eve Salvail is interviewed by Ponyryder.

Check out these adorable new faces videos from Folio in Canada. Shows that simple is sometimes so much better.

Don’t all you models wish you had a fan like this?

“The perfect example of having a lot of money to spend but not knowing what to do with it.” OUCH!

Model Hildie G is one of Paul Rowland’s new fabulous faces for Ford. She may be the antithesis of what Eileen Ford would have liked.

Speaking of Ford, how cute is the new V Man/Ford Model contest winner, Michael Wozniak in this video by Ford?

For those who missed it the first time, here is Imogen Morris-Clarke‘s blog post about what all her model friends wanted to be when they grew up.

Ali Stephens talks about a cause near and dear to her heart, the oceans.

Oskar Tranum and Jakob Hybholt both up for top male Danish model (see pic); Jakob wins this year. Amanda Norgaard wins the women’s award. Congrats Jakob and Amanda! (Image courtesy of NY Models for Jakob)

Rush, Russh

August 21st, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

Ali Stephens‘s has come into her own. From her debut Chloe ads to her continued presence on the runways, the All American teen has always been one to watch. For the September issue of Russh, Ali looks sexier than we’ve ever seen her in neon lipstick and a slew of body conscious ensembles. Benny Horne‘s slick photographs and Stevie Dance‘s sexy styling combine to bring out the very best in Ali and the ’100 percent’ tagline coudln’t be a more apt description of what everyone on the team gave to this project.

Animal Instincts

October 21st, 2008 |Posted by Janelle

Ali Stephens explodes onto the pages of Numero in a ferociously feline only girl editorial. Clad in leopard prints – purple lipstick and the dramatic shapes of the season Ali looks every bit the early 90s ubermodel. Leave it to Greg Kadel to unleash the very best from this continuously exciting rising star.
