Signs of the Times

April 20th, 2015 |Posted by jonathanshia

As we move from Aries into Taurus, Spanish menswear magazine Fucking Young!—born under the sign of Capricorn—prepares to launch a Spring/Summer 2015 issue this week devoted to the theme of the Zodiac, with a story on each of the twelve standard signs along with one for the little-known thirteenth, Ophiucus, the Serpent Bearer, here portrayed by Alessio Pozzi.

Alexandre Cunha plays Aquarius wrapped in a wool scarf by Loewe on the cover shot by Gorka Postigo, while Benedikt Angerer and Andre Bona embody the clean intellect of Capricorn. The twins Niek and Erik Put are, of course, Gemini, and Dominik Bauer stars in a darkly glittering take on Scorpio. Interviews with designers Humberto Leon and Carol Lim of Opening Ceremony and Kenzo and Jeremy Scott of Moschino fill out the issue, which ends with a horoscope for the year ahead. Take a look at our exclusive preview of the issue, available now for preorder at Fucking Young, below.

A Few Good Men

July 29th, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

In case you’ve haven’t had enough of phenomenal previews from the newest edition of Love Magazine, take a sneak peek at Alessandra Ambrosio, as a dashing naval sailor in Boo George (London: Streeters London, Los Angeles: Streeters Los Angeles, New York: Streeters New York)‘s beautiful story from Issue No. 6. Alessandra is worlds away from her bombshell persona and she disappears into her role with panache. Sporting naval inspired looks selected by Anders Solvsten Thomsen, Alessandra looks phenomenal. We’re excited to see the rest of the story, which also features George Barnett, Alexander Beck, Sid Ellisdon, Danny Fox, Julius Gerhardt, Tommy Kristiansen, Robert Knighton, Kate King & Hannah Noble.

The Method

July 5th, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

Modeling and acting have always crossed paths, but Daniel Jackson takes the connection to the next level with his latest for Acne Paper. Some of the industry’s freshest faces get a bit of dramatic training for Jackson’s camera: Julia Saner, Anais Pouliot, Taras Koltun, Caroline Brasch Nielsen, Kate King, Iris Egbers, Alexander Beck and Colinne Michaelis clutch scripts, do table reads and put on a full show, while wearing pieces pulled by Mattias Karlsson. With each model displaying a full range of emotion and Jackson’s stark black and whites setting the mood, this is one story Strasberg could be proud of.
