One of our favorite stylists, Nicola Formichetti is featured on the Cut.

We’re all for more inclusiveness (British Vogue’s Alexander Schulman tackles the size 0 problem). Here’s Jezebel’s interesting take on it.

Here’s another interview for the Brazilian fans.. the very lovely Izabel Goulart.

Funny, funny, funny; French Vogue is “anti-pants” so says Jezebel.

There’s a new documentary coming out about Brazilian models. Though sadly it’s in Portugese only, who cares when you can look the gorgeous Gisele Bundchen, Raquel Zimmermann, Isabeli Fontana, Caroline Trentini, Adriana Lima and Caroline Ribeiro emote in their native language. (Take a peek at rarely seen Cyril Brule, owner of Viva and Marilyn Gauthier, owner of Marilyn’s and photographer Peter Beard).

If you don’t know JD Ferguson‘s background, read about the model/photographer/general man about town and his fun times with Karl Lagerfeld and the top models.

Sans Artifice is a fan of photographer Norman Jean Roy,  he “brings out the Vogue ethos“.

New Dutch model agency to watch! Modelution is featured on the Ones2Watch.
Continuing in the same vein as Sarah Ziff in Picture Me, Frockwriter explores the dark side of the industry.
Gisele AND Jesus on the same runway…. The Brazilians are buzzing about the Colcci show.

If you’re in Chicago, Wednesday June 24th, go meet Elite Chicago’s scouts (click on the link for age and height requirements).

Baby Bump Watch: Is 2009 the year the VS Angels (both former and current) all have little darlings on the way? Heidi Klum seems to have started a trend; Adriana Lima is now pregnant, with rumors that Gisele Bundchen may also be expecting. Just so the sexy Europeans don’t get left out, Laetitia Casta has her 3rd on the way.

The Imagist muses about the future of the men’s modeling market

One Management interviews photographer and film maker KT Auleta.

As all the major designers are now putting out resort lines, here’s a look at YSL’s on Sans Artifice.

C’mon fashion people. Times are tough but you don’t have it as tough as these guys. You can support a great cause as well as get some cool discounts/ freebies yourself.

Speaking of charities, MDC is helping to sponsor one! The event, for One Image Charity, is tomorrow and it helps raise awareness about children living on the streets in Haiti and the Philippines. Come by or bid on one of the beautiful images.

To Boldly Go…

May 26th, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

Givenchy steps into fresh territory for F/W 09, enlisting Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott to create a quintessentially French scene of beauties lounging in the Château de Ferrières. As always Mariacarla Boscono is front and center but she is joined by Iris Strubegger and much buzzed about newcomer Ranya Mordanova, whose signature crop and natural austerity make her a perfect fit for the house. On the menswear side, newcomer Manuel Ramos does his first tour of duty for the brand, Simon Nessman completes his 3rd season for the brand while Jakob Wiechmann does his second; the boys certainly look edgy in Tisci’s naval inspired vision for men.

Perhaps the most eye-catching surprise is Adriana Lima‘s goth makeover, building on her surprise runway revival at the F/W show the Brazilian bombshell is given the Mert & Marcus treatment and looks more high fashion than she has in years.

Adriana Takes Paris!

October 20th, 2008 |Posted by Janelle

Adriana Lima has cornered the market on sexy. As the de facto leader of the Angels her name has become synonymous with the Victoria’s Secret brand and it’s version of provocative. Now the Brazilian bombshell makes the move into exciting new territory – bringing her exotic looks to the pages of Vogue Paris. ‘Rien A Cacher’ shot and styled by former Elle fashion editor at large, Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele shows Adriana looking effervescent in playfully blingy ensembles.
