Super Mario

June 24th, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

Campaigns keep coming in and star photographer Mario Sorrenti is showing his versatility with campaigns for two brands that couldn’t be more different. Christy Turlington re-teams with Oriol Elcacho for another season of Bally,  Sorrenti shoots the dynamic duo as they walk hand in hand looking like the powercouple they are. For Hugo by Hugo Boss Sorrenti takes things in a completely different direction with an austere black and white campaign staring the eternally gorgeous Anouck Lepere.

Which Sorrenti shot campaign do you prefer?

The Boys Are Back…

January 26th, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

The resurgence of the supermodel isn’t just for the ladies, now more than ever companies are going back to their tried and true favorite male models. Familiar faces like Jamie Dornan, Oriol Elcacho and Steve Gold are snagging major campaign space, appearing in ads for the likes of Armani, Iceberg and Bally. While new faces dominate the catwalks of Milan and Paris the good old boys are front and center in campaigns. When the stakes are as high as they are now the industry relies on proven talents to push product – nothing beats a face you can trust.

So Ad-dictive

December 29th, 2008 |Posted by Janelle

The holidays may be almost over but new ads are the gifts that keep on giving. Fresh from her latest Longchamp ads, Kate Moss shines as the face of Fred Joaillier. In the black and white ads shot by Patrick Demarchelier, the British beauty looks as exquisite as the sparkling diamonds adorning her wrist. Christy Turlington lends her classic allure to Bally’s colorful S/S campaign, looking lovely in the line’s signature styles as she does. Rounding out the pack, Marc by Marc Jacobs treats us to an exceptionally angelic looking Daisy Lowe photographed in Juergen Teller‘s distinctive style.
