Following in the footsteps of Christy Turlington, Julia Stegner, Erin Wasson and Jessica White before her – Charlotte is the latest model to join the Maybelline family. News like this travels fast, especially when you share it with shameless gossips like P’trique. There was a point in the pre-recession days (if you can remember those) when spotting a smile on a cover or in a campaign was was something akin to seeing Anna Dello Russo in khakis and Keds – it simply wasn’t done. Mirte Maas and Mathias Bergh‘s Tom Ford ads are beyond upbeat and bordering on manic – who would guess that Mr. Ford himself was behind the camera? Beneath all that carefully crafted sexiness, we knew he had a sense of humor.

Julia Stegner, Miranda Kerr and a couple of baby goats for Bally. Cavity. Inducing. sweetness.

Only a hint of a grin for Bottega Veneta, but seeing Liya Kebede always makes us smile. Plus, lets be real who wouldn’t be grinning if they found themselves in the possession of that tote.

Arizona Muse for Isabel Marant, stuck in the backseat of a convertible (cars are another of the season’s big fashion ad motifs, see Prada’s gas station-fest) shielding her face from the sun and STILL smiling.

Hearing the words Milla Jovovich by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, automatically makes you think of a really arty black and white shoot, possibly with some cool face painting or an M/M Paris design scrawled along the side. Luckily I&V are saving that kind of stuff for Justin Bieber this month and instead have graced us with this shot of an ecstatic Milla.

Luigi Murenu crafts and coifs a special story for MUSE, starring Julia Stegner; looking luscious in Givenchy couture, strategically placed flowers and little else, Julia radiates sensual energy. The portraits by Danielle Duella and Iango Henzi make the most of the moody ambiance of Tisci’s collection, all while showing off Murenu’s opulent hairstyles.

V heats things up with its Sexy Bodies issue; photographers Glen Luchford and Mark Abrahams shoot five of fashion’s most beautiful girls for a steamy black and white set of images. Missy Rayder, Julia Stegner, Crystal Renn, Edita Vilkeviciute and Guinevere Van Seenus dare to bare their bodies in thigh high boots, lingerie and even a little latex.

Fashion’s night out was full of surprises and special little instances. Here are 3 from our night out on the town. A moment with supermodel (and total sweetheart) Julia Stegner at Barneys and a little video of Heather Marks, Erin Heatherton, Arlenis Sosa, R’El Dade and Julia getting dolled up in cowboy hats in front of David Yurman. And last but not least, here’s a pic of everyone’s favorite Coco Rocha, Irish step-dancing’s most famous practitioner. Looking good ladies!

The mysterious young man in the Just Cavalli ads with Kate Moss is none other than FM Agency‘s Chris Duffy. Though, used mainly here as a foil to Miss Moss’ larger than life presence, we feel this young British lad will be shining on his own in the coming months.

While our Ones2Watch section always has extraordinary new faces, today’s deserves a special mention. The Romanian Raisa and the German Daniel are most definitely ones to watch for the upcoming season.
