May 15th, 2015 |Posted by steven.yatsko

Twin Magazine’s twelfth issue is out on stands May 21st with five different blue-bound covers featuring a mélange of modern muses, in collaboration with Viva London. Saskia de Brauw plays shapeshifter for Annemarieke Van Drimmelen, Doutzen Kroes acts casually classic for Ben Weller, Edie Campbell goes full-dandy for Boo George, Adrienne Jüliger beams for Matteo Montanari and Vanessa Axente embodies the spirit of summer for Nick Dorey . The issue is “all about attitude,” says Becky Smith, creative director of Twin, and their choice of heroine ensemble says it too. Styling ranges from summer’s easy-to-wears on Vanessa clothed by Naomi Miller to the sartorial costuming of Edie by Caroline Newell. Angel Rising

February 25th, 2014 |Posted by Matthew

The Ancient Greeks looked to their gods as idols of strength and beauty, values they praised above all else. In a couple thousand years, those qualities still define our icons, especially in fashion. Thus, with a titanic clash of modernity and ancient mythology, Vogue Turkey brings us its “Modern Goddess,” Doutzen Kroes, on three covers for March 2014. Cuneyt Akeroglu photographs and fashion editor Konca Aykan styles as this Victoria’s Secret Angel ascends to Olympian heights, showcasing her athletic figure and gorgeous face. In Spring looks by LanvinVionnet, Jenny Packham, and more, Doutzen is equal parts Diana the Huntress and Helen of Troy, asserting the timelessness of the modern woman.

Class Acts

April 10th, 2013 |Posted by Janelle

When in doubt, go for elegance. The latest ad campaigns eschew gimmicks and rely instead on the kind of classic polish that never goes out of style. Bastion of uptown chic Tiffany & Co. enlists the new generation of top models in a stylish campaign by Michael Thompson that puts those fabulous jewels on superstars Liya Kebede,Liu Wen, Arizona Muse, Karen Elson and Doutzen Kroes. The stunning cast adds a touch of freshness to one of luxury’s oldest names, while Thompson’s graceful shots show the timeless appeal of gemstones.

Prada’s pre-fall shots are every bit as beautiful, but there is a hint of edge in Steven Meisel‘s minimal studio shots. Irene HiemstraAmanda Murphy and Vanessa Axente look pristine in Meisel’s imagery and the pared down collection provides a down to earth, yet wholeheartedly Miuccia take on seasonal dressing. What could be more classic than a whole lot of gingham and a good ol’ fashioned statement bag?

A knockout April cover filled with Givenchy sequins and Doutzen’s supermodel sizzle. Doutzen + Vogue Paris is always a winning combination, you may remember her equally appealing VP cover from 2007.
