Arthur Sales. Ph: Milan Vukmirovic for L’Officiel Hommes S/S 10
L’Officiel, that is.. Arthur Sales, the 19 year old Brazilian beauty has 200 pages and the cover of the latest L’Officiel Hommes. Milan Vukmirovic’s last couple of special issues devoted to solo young men were Jon Kortajarena and Andres Velencoso Segura, models with super staying power. Carrying a whole magazine requires an engaging intensity, chameleon like beauty and the ability to model one’s socks off. Looks like there’s a new sheriff in town.

It’s such a ridiculous concept ‘one model, 200 pages’. Jon Kortajarena DISLIKED the edition he was solely in. He’s on record stating that. Most fashion magazines are boring enough without having to look at the same face for 200 pages.

I love Arthur Sales, been following him from MIB blog. But I hope that the magazine will showcase a different look from him. Not just the sweet, good ol’ boy. Make him more tougher and Edgy. Ala bad boy James dean……
A tougher look will make him last longer…..

Arthur is in my opinion by far the most beautiful male model out there this moment. What really makes him stand out though is his amazing mix of charisma, personality and ability to deliver in every single shoot.
I honestly think this will be brazils next big export after Gisele

I saw the first released batch and I really don’t know what to make of it..
I figured that after all of the blackface backlash that the message would’ve been loud and clear that alot of people are truly offended by that. But some people just don’t give a rat’s ass.
I have not seen the entire thing, but perhaps he’ll assusme the role/culture of other races?

I do agree though with some comments above about the prematurity of this coverage/attention in his still early career, but hey, good for you, young man!
We all are on the lookout for more interesting things to come from Arthur.
