La Casta

Laetitia Casta is the quintessential French supermodel, so it is no wonder that the latest edition of Vogue Paris is dedicated entirely to her. Casta’s beauty is highlighted by several different photographers and she serves as guest editor of this very special edition : we cannot think of a better way to round out a decade of Vogue Paris.

What a way to end the year. I always anticipate the last Vogue Paris and Italia of the year, and from the previews here, Vogue Paris is a hit!! I love the ones by M&M, and the signature graphic (color) cover. Miiss Casta rocks it out, which is cool to see that she is still the $hit!! Viva La Costa!!

I have never heard of Laetitia. She seems to be really really good. Like her in Vogue

  4. Nik says:

And this cover rivals almost any Vogue Italia cover. M&M is most definately giving Meisel a run for his money, no?

    I like the cover.

Ohhh I do not see the same as you.

Laetitia has great beauty and personality. The front of edition is not pleasing with yellow letters and green Madonna top and puffed hair. Pink hair nice. Dark palette good. Image seemed reminder of previous one. M&M are using old MiuMiu which Laetitia deserved better. The colours saturation was rich but I see fetishism alternative photographers have done same since 1998 or such.

I don’t want Paris Vogue to be Italia. It should be French! She was Marianne after all and a mother woman but they do not push her specialness in editorials. The YSL singles she has her head angled in a sameilar fashion in many shots, head upturned angled. Too much the same. She is actrice make her more personality show. And YSL was known as much for his colours why so much black?

The Corsi singles not like too much either. I feel like it should have been more dramatic, it wasn’t filtered sunny too much so the rich wild of the Corsi countryside is lost.

I think she needs another full issue but let some new peoples photographers work with her and show more personality. She is actrice now, she can do more then this.

Too dark for a Vogue Paris cover. And I don’t really care for Laetitia.

She means so much to France & fashion, I think she’s a wonderful choice of model to honour.

The photos aren’t amazing – I actually like Cedric’s the best.

Would love to see a French model blowout in VP with Laetitia, Audrey Marnay, Aurelie Claudel, Morgane & Noemie to the current mob of Mathilde, Charlotte, etc. I know there’s so many I haven’t mentioned..

one more prominent current French model you missed out is Sigrid Agren. worked with her when she was here in Singapore before she got huge.

Laetitia is absolutely gorgeous as always. She is in a class of her own.

The cover looks like Italian Vogue. She is still gorgeous after years.

she is still beautiful…though i don’t like the cover

Many people referred to Italia vogue.maybe the cover, it is inlfuenced by Twight the film and a homage to the spouse of Laetitia, Stefano Accorsi who is Italian. she said that she worships Italian culture maybe the connection to italian vogue is not just a coincidence.

    what a beautiful woman!!!!

  16. conneie says:

does anyone know when these editorials were shot?
she had baby in sept and was showing at Cannes so it was shot last year?

  17. Vix says:

she has wonderful, lush voluptous body for a model. very French, very sexy. she has the chest and booty of a Playboy Playmate – in a good way. I have always considered her a beauty – you can just see it in her eyes.
