London Swings
November 20th, 2009 Janelle comments (23)Jourdan Dunn, goes mod for i-D in an editorial by Kerry Hallihan. With a little help, from Edward Enninful‘s inspired style choices and a voluminous hairstyle courtesy of Malcolm Edwards‘ the British beauty takes on an entirely new look. Halluan’s pictures call to mind classic 1960s Vogue and Jourdan’s expressive poses give the shoot life.

Normally she should give birth in december.
Maybe they shot the shoot already a while ago, if not to used photoshop. (Like they did with Giseles babybump)
Anyhow, I love this editorial.

Ok, I cannot resist myself. I already did say that the 2nd picture reminds of a certain Ralph Lauren ad, the very ad where Filippa’s body was edited so hard that her head was actually bigger than her pelvis. I was just wondering if You can’t see that the same thing is happening here.

I have to agree with Lily. The 3rd picture does have a very striking resemblance to the over edited Ralph Lauren ad, but I must say Jourdan Dunn is still very beautiful, just a bit too much photoshop has been done. Once again.

I 110% agree with Lily!!!! I can’t believe fashion has come to this… quite ridiculous

She looks Amazing!! Have you not heard of camera angel Lily? As people love to make comments they should be a bit more clued in at what they are looking at. Seems like it the images are from a low angle, which physically stretches her out. Photo 101 people.

Amazing. Jourdan Looks Stunning!! Always love being on set with her. She’s so fun. Best editorial I’ve seen of her so far this season. Camera angel and wide lends stretch her out, you’re right Park & Lex. Gotta know your tools of the trade. I know 1st hand Kerry is very against over-retouching. I’ve heard her make comments on set, and heard retouchers say how she likes to keep it as real as possible. Definitely low angel, look at the proportions.
