Yelena Yemchuk’s photos of Abbey Lee Kershaw in the latest Vogue Italia, have a moodiness and charm that makes the elegant retro-styled pieces of Ralph Lauren’s fall winter collection feel modern. Shot at trendy locations like the Jane Hotel, the pictures follow Abbey around Manhattan as she wears a series of all white Ralph looks. We are used to seeing Ralph on the polo grounds and in the country club, so the urbane settings combined with Abbey’s off-beat sexiness and Yelena’s dark style makes for a fresh take on the Lauren iconography.

I’m sorry I have no clue what you guys mean that she has no expression? She is intensely gorgeous! A girl like that can just look at the camera, and bam, you have a high fashion shot, in gold. I think the last picture, with the white dress shirt open, is so off the hook. She has the prettiest blue (or is green or grey?) eyes, a sparkling super star….this babe is out of the stratosphere. hail, goddess!!!
