Lara Stone is the queen of rebellious and brazen sexuality. We’ve come to expect a certain devil may care attitude from Ms. Stone - how many Lara editorials feature the Dutch beauty wearing Balmain and smoking a cigarette? Perhaps that is why her sugary sweet cover for British Vogue seems so very fresh. Soft pastels, a frou frou dress and Lara looking almost (dare we say it) innocent. Leave it to Mario Testino to show another side of one of our favorite girls.

This cover IS different. It is very soft, compared to her previous covers this year, and more pretty, not so much edge. She is not my favorite, but I have to say, 2009 was the Year of La Lara. You go gurl!!!!!!!

Like her doing her edgy thing but conventional beauty look doesn’t work for her. It’s kind of boring and she looks pretty but indistinct.

Eyebrows! THAT’S what looks different about her! I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. Nonetheless, she looks nothing shy of amazing here. So elegant and beautiful. I am, and continue to be, a huge Lara fan.

Still don’t understand the whole Lara thing, she’s okay but she’s no girl of the year or model of the year or whatever, I’ve always thought of her as average with some rare exceptions (Vogue Paris) but these pics are just lame.

Yes me too, i want to see very fresh faces, that girls who have never been on the big runways.There are a lot of girls who are waiting to be discovered, much more interesting faces.
