Who better to recreate the spirit of Andy Warhol’s Factory than Interview Magazine? The sixties are revisited in gritty fashion by Peter Lindbergh and Ludivine Poiblanc (Management + Artists) who enlist a slew of fresh faces to channel the energy and eclecticism that defined the time period. Casting directors Noah Shelley for AM Casting (Los Angeles: Streeters Los Angeles, New York: Streeters New York) and Angus Buchanan select kids with the edge and personality needed to represent the downtown scene, Ronja Furrer, Hollie May Saker, Lea Goode, Madison Stubbington, Joel Wolfe, Marley Chapman, Adam Lee, Jacob Bixenman, Mark L, Shannon Clagett and Steffy Argelich take center stage in Lindbergh’s stripped down images looking cool and nonchalant while wearing dressed down designer pieces. Though fashion fanatics are sure to spot modern looks from Proenza Schouler and Saint Laurent Paris among the wares featured in the editorial Lindbergh’s photos could easily pass as candid snapshots from a bygone era.
