When you release one of the best collections of spring it’s only fitting that you follow it up with an equally appealing campaign. Jack McCollough + Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler enlist David Sims for atmospheric ads that capture the essence of the label’s runway show. Working with themes from technology’s merger with handcrafts, to nature and interiors, Sims creates a contrasting series of images that pop off the page. Marie Chaix (Art Partner) styles Charlotte Lindvig and Harleth Kuusik in straight from the runway looks, including those memorable metallic pleated skirts and exquisite copper breastplates. The sophisticated pieces stand out against the rustic background and the intimate feel of the campaign is only heightened once you learn it was shot on location at Jack & Lazaro’s Massachusetts home!
