Steven Meisel.
Marie-Amélie Sauvé.
Vogue Italia.

The resort collections are brought to life in the latest from fashion’s most influential glossy. A new lineup of Meisel approved beauties fronts the issue with Cindy Bruna, Anna Ewers, Ophelie Guillermand and Gracie Van Gastel looking elegant in soft focus. Pat McGrath, Guido Palau and Jin Soon Choi add the final touch of polish to a cover that fully captures the beauty of its youthful subjects. Inside the issue takes an appealing twist with a cover story themed around the concept of haute model comp cards!

Have to say I love this cover. It is not without fault as the positioning of the girls is kind of awkward but they look amazing!

  2. TA says:

Whoa! This is surreal. Top: Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford (minus mole). Bottom: Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell. OK, Naomi is a bit of a stretch but still…!!

All resemblances aside, I give credit to Vogue Italia for once again daring to be different for a December issue. Love this.

It’s really not the best cover

Cindy looks like Kim Kardashian in this shot, only more sophisticated. They’re all beautiful though 🙂

  6. Mia says:

No, no, no! The positioning is so awkward. Very disappointing as Vogue Italia is my favourite Vogue!

And in terms of the casting, I would have preferred to see Maria Borges instead of Cindy but sadly, high fashion tend to only favour models like Cindy, Joan, Malaika…

I know people on tfs have been hating on this cover and Cindy in particular (subtle racism there) but I love it. It’s a fresh take on the model group shot thing

It is the worst VI cover of this year.

I like Cindy and Gracie, but this cover is so disappointing, and a bit strange. I see too many people.

  11. trumancapote says:

i dont find the story appealing or fun as we have seen of this way to many times but god these girls can model !! booker should show this to all the one that are serious about getting in the biz cos this is how models should act in front of the camera , then we wonder why the photos are great : those were born to be in front of a camera !

  12. Christopher Y says:

GORGEOUS girls… but i have to agree that the positioning is strange… no clothes or fashion are being highlighted, even the girls seem a little lost…

  13. jbrandy says:
