Ervell’s Field of Dreams

July 25th, 2013 Posted by jonathanshia comments (3)

The young New York designer Patrik Ervell has always gone his own way. There was the runway composed of salmon-tinted stacks of Financial Times, the jackets made of crinkly gold emergency blankets, the progressive e-commerce site featuring animated models, all of it perfectly in-line with his sharp, modernist aesthetic vision. So it’s no surprise that his first fully-fledged ad campaign would be no different. Shot by Luke Gilford in Santa Cruz, the rich black-and-white spread features Max Von Isser in a soft, windblown field, the perfect backdrop for Ervell’s brilliant woodsy Fall 2013 collection. Take an exclusive first look at the campaign below, before it makes its d├ębut in the Fall issues come September.
