First Look : RUSSH

For the 50th edition of Russh, the always cool Aussie glossy, pulls out all the stops. The ‘Now Showing’ issue focuses on the inspirational power of cinema and storytelling as an artform, so it is no surprise that the mag is filled with leading ladies; from fashion’s hottest models, to Hollywood’s rising beauties and insightful auteurs. Naturally each editorial tells its own story – on the cover Marie Piovesan plays a modern day incarnation of Marie-Antoinette, while editorials inside feature Rosie Tapner showing off the season’s striking shapes and Ruby Jean Wilson getting the Wim Wenders treatment in a ‘Wings of Desire’ inspired photoshoot.

Stunning body, flawless presence in front of a camera as much as on the runway, a face austere, severe, suggestive and at the same time incredibly reliable, Marie is a model I personally don’t love but who I find objectively outstanding – in these shots too.
