The shot is perfection. Her facial detail and makeup is amazing. Recently my exposure to Dior Secret Garden A film by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, starring Daria Strokus, Melissa Stasiuk and Xiao Wen Ju in La Galeries Des Glaces – Château de Versailles.
Music by Depeche Mode: ‘Enjoy the Silence’ made me see the beauty. Inez follows me on Twitter and Dior has complemented my comment on YouTube…Grandeur at 1:42 of video…Fie Fie is a goddess in this picture.

Woohoo! Feifei is one of my faves and a superb model and the cover is nice although the lipstick is a bit weird. On the one hand, it’s great that they gave her a cover, on the other hand, I don’t think we should be congratulating Franca and Meisel so much. They took their sweet time making this happen. There’s also the fact that they took four years after the black issue to give another model of colour a cover. VI is known for championing unknowns, but it seems the courtesy is only paid to white models. So I’m happy for Feifei and east asian models, or to be specific, chinese models (other asian models don’t seem to fare as well as the chinese) but I think we as consumers of fashion we should still challenge them to do better and take them to task when they fall short.
