Hope Springs Eternal

Steven Meisel is reuniting with all his supermodel favorites of late. First Kristen McMenamy‘s epic VI cover last month and now the return of the always stunning Linda Evangelista for Vogue Italia. Meisel shoots the eternally captivating model in high contrast black and white in a story that nods to the classic images of  Horst P. Horst and Richard Avedon.

This is what a “True” and “Real” Supermodel should be.

Linda never resorted to gossips and headline or other reality TV shows and movies to extend or hold on to fame……..

She just did what she does best and that is producing Great fashion moments like these……

She’s Still Hot, She’s very much around, Let’s pour her some LOVE!!!!!

  13. Mina says:

Prabal, I really like that idea, if it is it’s very well carried out – it is as an editorial anyway, of course…

  14. Zach says:

Pure poetry. The love between the photographer and his muse is so obvious here. Linda just lives for her work. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall during this shoot!

  20. Antonio Barros says:

This editorial is INSANE! I love it!!!!!

  21. KM says:

    ^Why is this 90s? I don’t see 90s at all.

I know this is a redundant question, but why can’t Americian Vogue have just one “arty” editorial like this? These are the types of editorials that I like to “get lost in”…so much fantasy and drama. VI is so difficult for me to obtain. By the time I get my hands on this issue, the October issue of VI will already be out. ::cries::

this is what we clamor for , the Vogue US fails to serve us…..

  23. sam says:

we need girls lyk linda again, it seems as if nobody enjoys modeling no more, their either doing it for money, or jus doing it as a simple job to get them into other oppurtunities, im so tired of these bored models

  24. Ambigous says:

young models are just here for quick bucks and (they think) a stepping stone to showbusiness, where theu will eventually fail to oblivion…..I can name names, oh well….

Linda lives for this craft, This is what she’s born to do and This is what she’s gonna be remembered for…..

Her great grand Children will be very proud of her someday!
