On the 20th anniversary of Claudia Schiffer’s appearance in Guess, catapulting her to supermodel status; a new German girl, Franziska Frank makes her mark in the memorable campaign.

    Maybe but you never ever know in fashion. With the right photographer, stylist, etc, even with a new designer in charge, a label that normally is not “in” can all of a sudden be the hottest thing again.
    Witness Alber Elbaz and Nicolas Ghesgiere for Lanvin and Balenciaga making the brands so relevant currently. Granted, Guess is not a high fashion brand but part of what made Guess so great in the 80’s,90’s was Ellen Von Unwerth’s photography.. If the combination is the right mix, it could conceivably be a starmaker again.
