When Yayoi Met Marc
June 14th, 2012 Janelle comments (3)As the king of the artist collaboration Marc Jacobs has been able to pull in some real heavy hitters over the years to work with Louis Vuitton. Who can forget the mega-brand’s collaborations with Richard Prince, Julie Verhoeven and perhaps most famously, Takashi Murakami. Previous collabos aside, LV may have outdone itself with their collection created with Japanese art legend, Yayoi Kusama. Each piece is covered in Kusama’s signature psychedelic dot prints, but boasts a very LV take on chic. Dazed & Confused features the collection in a story by Leigh Johnson, featuring Tilda Lindstam. The shoot styled by Karen Langley captures Tilda’s innate cool and the appealing wearability of the designs.
