July 20th, 2009 Janelle comments (21)While Vogue Paris‘ massive 65 page Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin editorial is heavy on tried and true favorites like Shalom Harlow and Raquel Zimmermann, the most exciting portions of the story involve girls who are making their Vogue Paris debut. Inez & Vinoodh bring out something different in each girl – Regina Feoktistova looks lady like in Ferre. Sessilee Lopez brings her signature dramatic flair to her pictures while Ranya Mordanova is avant garde in rainbow colored face paint. Dree Hemingway bares all in a simple black and white picture and Elsa Sylvan is the ideal Chloe girl in her over the knee boots. Last but certainly not least, Tao Okamoto adds an edge to Giorgio Armani’s signature suits.

Sessilee and Ranya are amazing models…..Sess maybe one of the best, natural working models around. She’s just uber cool and effortless, her face is amazing and body language is always right on point. Ranya is just enigmatic. She’s very otherwordly and fascinating to experience!

i do not like what ranya has done with her eyes in the facepaint picture, all you can see are the whites of her eyes! apart from that i thought all pictures were great

Sessilee here brings to mind pictures of Grace Jones at Arnold and Maria’s Shriver’s wedding. That and the Regina pic are incredible. Really loving those two.
