He is stunningly hot, no doubt. But there’s also no doubt that he doesn’t have the “high fashion look;” he really is too commercial. Another example of a model who gets work because of associations with a famous person, ala Bar Rafaeli, Gisele Bundchen, Carmen Kass, etc.

Why was my comment about Jesus looking like Elijah Wood deleted? I did intend it to be a negative comment, but it’s hardly offensive, and I don’t think we should be sensitive about the feelings of someone who has an undeserved amount of support in the fashion industry.
Again, he looks like Elijah Wood from Lord of the Rings.

I support his look… I think about the underwear campaign boy for A/X Kerry… he is not your “typical” model… I believe that is great. They are both very good looking guys and I believe as guys we need to have to men represent that “Real man:” not this skinny over the top “model” boys… sometimes they look gay in a bad and relating to the actual customer. Jesus Luz and Kerry both have alot of personality shown through pics and would think they do something like movies or tv shows. because of that. But, I happy to see there is alittle change. their are great appreicated, and an actual customer can actually purchased that product knowing and feeling that those guys. Some models on campaigns are so model like that a “real” customer WHO ACTUALLY DOESN’T LIKE THAT OR EVEN CLOSE TO THAT, CAN NOT RELATE WHEN TRYING ON THE CLOTHES.

…I think the problem here is…I side with those who say that this guy on his own, without all the Madonna’s fuss, would have stood the chance to be a top model in his own right, like other top Brazilian guys…but of course, the Madonna-label is going to rest him credibility for a certain sector of the public…grow up people!
And by the way, Jason, Gisele and Carmen Kass got all the work and rise to the top YEARS, WELL BEFORE they might have dated this or the other one, so to each their own, please.
