Campaign Contributions

The F/W campaigns continue to emerge and with each new ad there is something different to take in. Myf Shepherd and Olga Sherer don fedoras for Sonia Rykiel’s girlish campaign while Anja Rubik reprises her role as face of Giuseppe Zanotti in the Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin helmed campaign. The Eastern bloc power trio of Sasha Pivovarova, Anna Selezneva and Natasha Poly take on Phi this season in a series ofร‚ย  Steven Meisel images that looks very supermodel. Last but certainly not least, Jessica Stam‘s feline beauty shines for Fendi. Karl Lagerfelds smoky shots of Stam looking elegant are an unexpected treat.

Which campaigns have stood out for you this season?

  1. Well, all are gorgeous, but better than that is Gisele for Missoni new ad! Can’t wait for you to post it here ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. Which have stood out? None of them, really. All mostly blonde, skinny white girls (YAWN). But I’ll do my best:

The Giuseppe Zanotti stands out because it looks straight out of the late 70s/early 80s. Stam’s Fendi ad stands out because its a solo shot and her gorgeous eyes are instantly recognizable.

Then again, I’ll probably have an entirely different opinion when I see them all in print.

  4. plus, media in Brazil is sooo lame. those gisele ads were made a thousand years ago, theyre not brand new! and now they post everywhere that the shots were made before she got pregant! journalists where is the research, hello???!!!

  5. PHI is great, those Russian Girls are untouchable. Fendi is the best… Jessica Stam looks like a travelling Vampiress here, very dreamy, romantic with a touch of Twilight theme!

  6. Sasha P and Jessica Stam really hold few of the strongest faces in the industry . Their look always pull your eyes directly towards them. They always give the best Faces!

  7. The Sonia Rykiel shots are nice but look like they’ve been taken backstage. Is it really a campaign? Will we be seeing them in print?

  8. pHI iS sTRONG! bUT aLL tHE gIRLS aRE sTRONG eXCEPT MAYBE aNNA S. I dONT rEALLY LIKE hER… shE rEMINDS mE oFD a CHILD wITH dOWN sYNDROME.. wEIRD.. aNYWAY.. aNJA iS aLWAYS fUN. I aDORE mYF! mY pERSOANL fdAV. wAS FENDI.. sTAM sHINES… iT WAS aN uNEXPECTED sURPRISE.. I lOVE hER anD tHIS pIC rOCKs!

  9. Stam is the go-to girl for a solid campaign blue chip model. Her face is just expensive. Stam looks like a $ 5 million dollar necklace.

  10. Hi Sam, it means nothing. Ambigous was just being ambiguous. How can you not love Stam here? Stam looking like a cherubic vampiress here is just Brazilliant, don’t you think?

  11. I think the Sonia Rykiel campaign looks the best out of these . Please someone take the camera off Karl Lagerfeld

  12. Sonia Rykiel is the weakest here, joe. It’s too much color. The models look like mannequins. I disagree too about Uncle Karl. I think his photo of Stam is just genius!

  13. none of them really stand out to me, especially because i am so sick of the same boring models (white and blonde)

Sonia Rykiel is okay, it reminds me of something but i cant put my finger on it, maybe a louis vuitton campaign, but im not sure.

Giuseppe Zanotti, like everyone else these days, is stuck in the 80’s.

I feel like ive seen the Phi campagne in every fashion magazine for the last year, boring and unoriginal.

    Fendi, however, is nice.
not amazing, but pretty damn nice ๐Ÿ™‚
    its my favorite
