MDC Exclusive: Jason’s Silhouette

For his line’s very first campaign Jason Wu focuses on the silhouette. Shot by Willy Vanderperre and styled by Joe McKenna, the ads starring Julia Frauche are as elegant and beautiful as we’ve come to expect from Wu.

The 50s couture inspired pieces from the spring collection look look flawless, as does Miss Frauche. Chosen for her unique mix of fragile beauty and strength, Julia served as muse for the images – fitting given that Jason’s S/S 12 runway was the very first one she walked in New York.

Very nice, but I think those silhouettes look better on a curvier frame. Jason’s ads don’t disappoint though.
