Teng, I don’t think they were trying to imitate Avedon at all, despite the similarity. But if turns out that they were trying to imitate Avedon, I agree with you. But either way, like you, I always love to see Linda! She’s not around enough these days!

THE Grand dame of all supemrodels is back! she never went anywhere just had some personal issues and weight problems but when La Linda wants to work she CAN. The industry will have open arms for her always. Once an icon, always an icon. She’s just as much as fashion royalty as Moss and Campbell, if not more so. Remember she came first. Linda please get your booty back to epic modeling where you belong!

I like the second pic but that cover is too busy and not working for her face for me. I tend to prefer hard Linda to doe-eyed Linda.

@Shelly: You’re right about the personal and weight issues. She was looking obviously thicker in the last couple of L’Oreal commercials that she did. She’s battled with her weight for years but…WOW…she looks incredible now! I’ve read excerpts of her interview from Love magazine, and with this being her first interview in ages, the questions about her personal life were inevitably going to be asked. But as usual, she didn’t open up first to some gossipy rag, she bared a bit of her soul to a fashion-related magazine. This certainly demonstrates the respect that she has for the fashion industry. She could have easily gone and sold her soul to the highest bidder. Linda always lived and breathed fashion in the past, and it’s good to see that she’s still doing it today.
