Prairie Home Companions

There is a decidedly outdoorsy feel to two of the season’s latest campaigns – both Chloe and Kenzo take the action off the busy city streets and bring it back to nature. Kasia Struss, Sigrid Agren & Karlie Kloss display the muted beige caftans and thigh high boots of Hannah McGibbon’s Chloe collection in an unlikely prairie locale. The image by Mikael Jansson is beautiful and the concept is interesting but the level of beige borders on overkill. For Kenzo’s colorful Mario Sorrenti helmed endeavor Magdalena Frackowiak, Guinevere Van Seenus & Marcel Castenmiller look like flower children as they lay outside on a boldly patterned throw. Which campaign are you enjoying more?

  1. Both campaigns look amazing, but Kenzo took it to another level! The composition of the picture is just awesome, and Magdalena looks like an angel taking a nap! Guinevere is unrecognizable in the picture and i think that Kenzo should go for another boy for their next campaigns! Marcel has always the same bored look on his face, and it bores me! Hes a kind of Tom Cruise of the modelling industry…

  2. i usually love chloe adds but i dont think that one does any of those girls justice. sigrid is almost unrecognizable. Karlie looks the best. The last add was amazing with toni and edita. Also the color of the clothes were better and the backdrop. sorry its kind of dissapointing. but i love kenzo!

  3. Love the Chloe! Such a great collection and the campaign does not disappoint in my opinion!

  4. The Kenzo ad is more colorful. Plus it has Magdalena Frackowiak in it. She’s a lot of fun!

  5. i AM EXCITED TO SEE BOTH CAMPAIGNS. KENZO SEEMS TO DEFINITELY TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL WITH THE GRAPHIC LAYERING. GR8. BUT CHOLE IS ADD, LOOKS GREAT. I DID NOT THE COLLECTION AS WHOLE BUT ONLY IN PIECES BUT THIS CAMPAIGN LOOKS GR8. I LOVE SEE KARLIE KLOSS, KASIA AND SIG. BUT KARLIE IS IN IT FOR THE LONG HULL. SHE GOING TO BE BIG, I FEEL IT(HOUSE HOLD NAME MATERIAL)… THEIR IS SOMETHING ABOUT THAT GIRL

  6. I’m glad Chloe have used Kasia. I think she is stunning! I tought she’d peaked when she Did Dior with Stam and Coco last summer, but this is gorgeous.
I agree though, VERY photoshopped. Their hair looks great though.

  7. chloe is truly bad. i mean the work on the girls is a product of terrible photoshop and i don’t like the cast either. while for kenzo i can say it’s as great as the poast season, even if the concept is the same.

  8. i like Chloe image, but i can’t really recognize the girls.
I wish people just could stay away from all these computer manipulation!!!
Kenzo’s image is just a big mess!! It’s overly busy, the composition is not great, the ghostly figures are just distracting!!!

  9. CHLOE LOOKS YOUNG AND FRESH LIKE THE MODELS (Karlie is a superstar) .
KENZO LOOKS AS BORING AS MAGDALENA TAKING A NAP – OLD AND 80’s

  10. the kenzo campaign is amazing… chloe is beautiful too but the art direction behind the kenzo campaigns lately is just incredible. the same to stella mccartney, i love the arty abstract feel that sets them apart from the rest.

  11. CHLOE is fantastic… seems like there’s a continuity between this season’s and last season’s ad… it’s like the city girl has gone to the prairie for the weekend… j’adore!

As for Kenzo… again, i see the relationship between this season’s and last season’s ad… but only that this season’s is much dreamier… it’s so soft, so gentle… and romantic… and a pinch of eroticism in a very kept/subtle way

    good job!!!
