Nature Made
June 25th, 2009 Janelle comments (18)Alana Zimmer has the kind of classically beautiful face that looks right at home in the most elegant editorials but every so often its nice to see her in a different light. Yelena Yemchuk takes Alana into the forest for Vogue Russia in an editorial filled with the peaceful tranquility of the natural world. The way in which Natalie Brewster‘s styling blends seamlessly with the environment is a sight to behold and Alana looks serene in every shot.

I love EVERYTHING about Alana! Shes one of my favorites since the very first day i saw her at models.com! Classicaly beautiful, long lean body, great face, great jawline, this girl has everything that it takes to reach the top! And she will be major, just give her a fewmore years!

Is it just me or does she not have any life in these photos. Her eyes are just so blank and portray no emotion. I like her but I hope shes not a one-face wonder.

Her face is long and slender ,kind of edgy, I reckon this is the reason why she couldn’t advance more

The 4th shot is just strange to me.. 2nd and 3rd are gorgeous… though she’s lacking any facial emotion in #2, i guess that’s the point. Adorable styling.

lovely but must be smilling face.

Smiling is the LAST thing she should be doing in these photos.
The mood is lonely, slightly gelid and haunting. Her expressions are subtle and they convey a sense of longing. I’m not a huge Alana fan but she’s pitch-perfect here.

these pictures are strangely alluring…though they’re quite simple. I agree with most of the other commenters, the 2nd photo looks amazing.

She could have done a smile. It does not have to be a ‘happy’ one. The mood dark. Not all smiles welcome us.
