1991

Sean and Seng recreate the 90s for Dazed & Confused‘s anniversary issue, enlisting Jourdan Dunn to embody themes from the year of Dazed’s inception. In one shot Jourdan is a petulant Wednesday Adams, in the next she’s capturing the grunge spirit of Nirvana’s album, Nevermind. With exceptional styling by Karen Langley and a tongue in cheek sense of humor, the story does a great job of capturing all that was fun and fabulous about the early 90s era.

  1. It surely helps to have a fashion-goddess like Jourdan Dunn before the lens! πŸ˜‰

A reality for ONE, an eternal wish for enthusiastic guys like ME! πŸ˜€

  2. Jourdan has really grown as a model and this is certainly one of the best eds she’s done. I’m so happy she’s doing well this season, too.

  3. 5 years later, still relevant, and doing SO WELL!
Love, love, and LOVE Jourdan to bits! This edit proves why she is one of the best girls working right now.

  4. great story, but why isn’t it actually in the database for jourdan? this isn’t the first time i’ve noticed that, too, i might add. mdc might want to spend some more time updating their database and improving the quality of the scans they use.

  5. @hmm we usually try to add to the editorials in the database as they are added to the feed, but in some cases, it goes up before we have time to add it

as you can imagine, we receive many covers/editorials/advertisements that are to be added and it can be difficult at times to keep up with everything

  6. Jourdan Dunn is just *sigh* not fair how nature took so much time on her and not me πŸ˜›

and the third and fourth picture is divine
