Stark Reality
May 15th, 2009 Janelle comments (12)Its not easy making some of high fashion’s more esoteric looks seem wearable but every good model knows how to make it work. For Vogue China Liu Wen takes on printed, ornamented and truly daring fashions with help from Josh Olins. The fanciful headwraps remind us of Liu’s turn in Pop but the moody, high contrast feel of this edit bears a charm all its own.

A definite breakthrough for Liu Wen… she shows an amazing range of facial expressions and her body language is just… fantastique!!! I absolutely LOVE image #1 and #2!!! In image #2, she made the Prada’s look seem cute, rather than stern and stoic…
AHH, I LOVE HER.. and VOGUE CHINA!!!
