i-D’s final two covers for their summer issue are every bit as eye-catching as you’d expect. Behati Prinsloo sports skull makeup and a hardrock tee in her shot by Matt Jones, while Amber Valletta goes electric with a neon tinged shot by Craig McDean, styled by Edward Enninful. Fans of Enninful’s styling at i-D need not worry, he’s not going anywhere, even after landing that incredible new position at W. Edward will continue to contribute to i-D under the title of Consultant Fashion Director.

Wow. Cover looks like the makeup in the May edition of Dutch monthly Glamcult. (which was in turn inspired by Fever Ray).

Stella’s cover is very striking. I love Daphne’s cover too. It’s very eye catching. I’m dissapointed with Behati’s and Amber’s covers. I expected more. Behati’s Cover is boring. I don’t like that generic Solarize Photoshop effect in Amber’s cover. it’s not exciting at all. Stella’s cover is definitely the best.

They’re both eye-catching and intriguing in their own different way. Behati’s is more cool mystery while Amber’s just screams wild party.

don’t like the first one (people need to get over that Born This Way influence, it’s so irritating). The make up is not even greatly executed and the tee she’s wearing look tacky. As for the second one, it is just really boring. After the atrocious V Magazine cover I wonder what is happening to these so-called ‘trendy’ magazines. It all seems very uninspired to me.

THE SKULL MAKE UP IS SO UN-ORIGINAL!!!!!!! THEY SHOULD HAVE USED RICO ZOMBIE-BOY!!! IM NOT IMPRESSED!!! ESPECIALLY AFTER ALL THE EXPOSURE OF HIM WITH MUGLER AND FORMECHETTI!!!!!!
