Dali Darling!

March 1st, 2011 Posted by Janelle comments (11)

Salvador Dali’s influence can be felt throughout March’s Vogue Paris, especially in Mikael Jansson‘s striking story featuring Missy Rayder and Arizona Muse. The over the top visual treat, styled perfectly by Giovanna Battaglia, is a maximalist ode to beauty that captures the essence of the master’s surreal perspective.

Truly fascinating. The jewels – the expressions – the cinematography – the capture of the McQueen a la Burton – all just magnificent!

Nice to see Vogue Paris doing actual fashion again, and not the tired “nudetorials” under Carrine’s dubious reign.

I’m seeing more Alejandro Jodorowsky in these images, than Dali tho.:)
