Tokyo Story
January 19th, 2011 Janelle comments (12)Dazed and Confused‘s latest issue pays tribute to the Asian fashion explosion with a beautiful story by Ben Toms. Muted colors and sharp silhouettes are a recurring theme, but Robbie Spencer‘s ornate styling is the standout. Daiane Conterato, Jaco van den Hoven & Willy Cartier look like works of art in Toms’ striking images.

I love Daiane, and this editorial is seriously beautiful.
And @Mimi, traditionally geishas were men dressed in the kimonos and all made up.

Well done. Wish there was more of a Galliano / McQueen feel in the attire.

models.com should also give credit to Kamo Katsuya for the hair and head pieces in the story. I think they really add to the magic.
