Campaign Trail

Who doesn’t love a good campaign? Spring ads keep coming in and this season’s take on brand imagery is looking quite nice. Tom Ford offers up a 70s inspired treat featuring Abbey Lee Kershaw wearing his signature oversized shades and pieces from his heavily hyped collection. Meanwhile, Roberto Cavalli gives us Laetitia Casta and Malgosia Bela looking stunning in scales and fringe; the Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott images are light and girly. Vera Wang’s vision for spring includes the radiant Shu Pei, whose unique beauty and poise in front of the camera work perfectly with Wang’s romantic aesthetic.

abbey is not my favourite model but she looks so beautifully classy in the tom ford campaign. i love her reflection in the mirror, to the right. laetita looks amazing in the cavalli ad, which is just classic cavalli. shu pei looks beautiful but her body is a little awkward, i think the proprtion of her hair compared to her waist is a little off putting. the fashion houses certainly have upped their game from last season though.

Love the luxury and glamour in the Tom Ford and Vera Wang.
    And Cavalli is really fresh!

  3. noonoo says:

    abbey delivers, as usual

where is shu pei’s maybelline ad??

  4. PeterModelObsessed says:

The Tom Ford Campaign is soo very Gucci. And abbey is unrecognizable, almost looking like Lily Donaldson and Gucci Queen herself, Natasha Poly.

Laetitia Casta is not a Roberto Cavalli Girl. She’s too Demure for Cavalli. Fiery and Sultry girls like Kate and Daria fits the Cavalli mold.

Shu pei is exquisite, love her poise! But the proportions are all wrong.

  5. Things I Like says:

I hear Joan Smalls also did Cavalli with Laetitia and Malgosia. They should’ve included a shot with them all. Hopefully we’ll get to see her ads soon!

i hate cavalli ads usually but this one hits home.

Abbey is just ridiculously beautiful in this. I agree with the comment that it is EXTREMELY gucci.

(Kinda wish Tom Ford still did Gucci ads)

Shu Pei is striking. i dont like how the background was cropped but thats not the model’s fault.

  22. DooDiva says:

What?! Vera Wang campaign?! I thought it look like it is still in the progress, not ready to release “set, ready, go” campaign. Disappoint in whoever worked behind that.

Even Shu Pei’s radiant beauty, she can’t moved it to the market. One Word: FLOP.
